I am pretty new to animes only watch a few mainstream ones and im looking for the next few i want to watch, can anybody help me out with some animes and roughly what they are about. here is a list of the few i have seen thus far;
Naruto, Fairy Tail, Swort art online, Elfen Lied, Highschool Dx, Welcome to the NHK

i couldnt get into bleach or any of those mecha type animes for some reason
