There is no way to truly get away from the grid. Everything is based on a grid, weather you see it or not. No matter how "freely" you can move things. there will always be a way to apply it to a grid.

This is a screenshot of the light version, homescreen only. I just forgot to recolor the lines that separate the buttons but I'm working on it already. Artwork by Poko, no Oouso this time lol

Get rid of the bar at the bottom completely, along with all the applications on the side, and choose 4 applications that you really need (my suggestions would be Chrome, Chant Music, and the last is up to you), and get a custom icon pack like Minimalist UI. For opening the applications, get use a gesture to open it up like sliding your finger up. I'm assuming you're using ADW Launcher or whatever it's called, and if you're not, get something like that.

The render doesn't fit mainly because it looks like it's low quality, along with the fact that it just doesn't fit with the background's style. You could always try and get a render of it and then put it in there.
If you're not using a custom launcher, go grab ADW Launcher, should be something like that, and it lets you get rid of it. There's an option in Widgetlocker that lets you get rid of it too, if that's what you're using for your lockscreen. If not, go grab it and use it.

Instead of suing a light blue background apply a gradient. That way you can make the top dark enough to read with out the shadow effecting the character as well. A drop shadow on the girl would not be a bad idea either.

>>1565634 Ah, okay. Basically, what you can do is go into the hybrid properties in the system settings, swipe in from the left edge of the screen and tap "Iterface". From there, scroll down to the bottom andenable "Per-app color controls". Then, go into the "Apps" category, and find your launcher (I use Apex). Swipe over to the color config and customize it as you please. Status bar can be made transparent on most apps, but the navbar only becomes transparent on launchers (Assuming your device uses an on-screen navbar)
