You bring many valid points. Your idea of a "waifu" is surely a good one with high values; keeping standards high and what not.
However, do consider the simplicity the most men hold behind the idea of a waifu. It is about a lacking for drive/wish/ability to be with or communicate with that of a real woman.
And as there is nothing wrong with that, allow any of such fellow to indulge in his own prefect. Your opinions and taste do not need to register or be validated with another do they? As knowing true and well that these such waifus are unaffected by said "taste".
