The way her name's crooked kinda bugs me, and that you didn't include any black unlike the last screen seems inconsistent. There's a sizable empty space above everything which seems like it could be taken advantage of. Your browser icon also looks kinda funny, I'd fix the super thick outlines.

If you could maybe have a centralized color theme, like black/grey/blue instead of all the colors you have it'd look more consistent, at least. The navy blue in the lockscreen isn't used anywhere else, which looks strange and out of place. The cube on the ls (which I assume is a puzzle game) seems pretty out of place too.

Your first screen's icons are kinda oddly spaced out, I'd make the margins all even, and center the music widget.

Your second screen is nice, again work out the color scheme, but I like it. The battery widget (I assume that's what it is) is cool. I'd make the app drawer square too, cause it just looks sorta strange being the only non-square one.

Your last screen is pretty flawless, I'd carry that blue throughout your theme.

Thinking about expanding this out a couple of screens, but I'm having trouble finding an icon set that works with it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Couldn't find any colors for the clock that matched the background so Im just leaving it plain. Surprised a decent looking wall for SSY even existed at a quality that looks nice for me.

Not bothering to change my icons anymore, too much work. I should get around to rooting this but I'm too lazy to learn everything and have to do a minimal amount of research

I posted the "work in progress" version a few threads ago. But here it is after a week of considering it final. The screens do line up perfectly but the phone frame is kind of messing that up in the picture.

I don't really know what you mean by that, and my music widget is as centered is it can get. Also the tatami cube is from Tatami Galaxy, I thought it was a nice power level hiding lock screen but I'm trying out different themes and lock screen wallpapers, maybe I'll find something else that works better.

I think hes talking about how the icons are not centered vertically. the red lines here show how the spacing is just a tad off. Personalty I think it looks good though. its one of the few and I mean FEW times that icon pack (or style of icons) looks good.

as far as the cube goes, if you used that same shade of blue for the weather widget accents it may help pull the theme together better. I think its a good lock screen image though.

If you could, I'd change the font in your icons (the ones that label the icons) to something less boxy, singe Segoe is such a round font. I'd also make the background color of your phone white or off-white/some light yellow or purple, not black.

Oh, alright I get it now, I didn't know you meant vertically. I don't think I'll change that anytime soon, it doesn't bother me and would be a pain to change. The lock screen also has a default tint to it that I can't change and I hate the custom lock screens because they're so slow. The actually wallpaper is brighter. So I don't know what I'll do for the lock screen for now. Maybe I should just go full monochrome.

Set a pure white image as the wallpaper the take a screenshot. That way you can see how dark the lockscreen tint is. Use that knowledge to brighten the image you want to use by the proper amount.

Changed the icons, love the set because it looks good, but hate it because there are so few icons that I had to improvise because they don't have an icon for Facebook. Ah, the price of beauty. Made the battery cigarette match as well and the smoke cloud look like an actual cloud. I think this is complete.

Those are rather simple icons. You should be able to make the icons that you are missing. So long they are not crazy specific images. Facebook for example should be very easy to make up.

You can change it in Nova Settings > Look and Feel > Screen orientation. It should default to rotating automatically.

I second this actually, I wouldnt mind a decent music app whose widget that i can customise. I downloaded poweramp free just a while ago to try out its customisable widgets, and loved it, but sadly just like solidexplorer, theres a trial limit and i am either going to have to buy these two or pirate them.

As you can see, even though google play is great, its music widget blocks the background. Ignore the notification bar and slider please, i am in a transtitional stage.

Yeah it was on default and my system auto-rotation was enabled so I don't know why it didn't work. Changed to "auto-rotate" and now it works.

I agree, I think they should be like 16bit (and maybe have round edges) instead. I've yet to come across an icon pack like that though.

If you are interested I have an apollo apk that will make the widget transparent so it may fit better with your theme. If you just want play/pause, next/previous track you can try Phantom Music Control.

as for the icons I don't think there are any 16bit icons out there.

To be honest, the blur is just an edited version of the image. There are probably ways to do it that aren't so brute-force, but it served my purposes.

It's tinted by widgetlocker (in the Appearance settings) and the arrows are a widgetlocker slider theme called 'arrow slider' by ffra on deviantart.

You talking about the galaxy note 3? If so its not that practical as a phone, for the average person. It is just to big. If you like having a lot of screen space, then its nice. But IMO its too big for pocket carry, and general everyday use to make that extra inch and a half screen worth it.

pretty simple and minimal. some people hate that clock but it looks good here. only criticisms are the icons look a bit blurry, and the cat's outline is not that consistent. Try to find a better version of that render to use.

Needs some work.
I would use a different clock widget, or at least remove the background color and the words "widget locker" from it.
I would also get rid of the brightness and ringer sliders and add them to the unlock slider.
then I would hide the status bar

That makes the clock harder to read. Leave the tint on but at the lowest setting. Even it out by adding a tint to the entire screen (a widget locker setting)

How can I install a custom ROM in an LG-E440g (Optimus L2II).

Are you rooted? You need root before rom flashing can happen.

This is a thread about phone themes not tech support for every little device out there. I hate to be a dick on this but if you are this clueless about where to start; flashing a rom is not for you. Custom roms are not needed to get a good looking phone.

If the image looks weird its because my LCD broke just after i finished changing my screens so i just ended up editing old screenshots.

If i were to make a background as one image and make it four times the width of my phone's resolution could i make it scroll through the entire image?

If youre the one who did the picture with the library ghost earlier, you have a good taste in colors. Also a very nice simple theme you have there, I would personally recommend changing the font as it seems too thin, but if youre okay with it then thats fine too

Pretty good. The widgets work with the background for the most part, except I think the top widget could be a darker red since the blood in the background is also darker. The font is okay but it looks more like scribbles than blood (don't ask me where to find a bloody font though).

If its split like i think it is into three screens, then, the words are being cut off by the edge of the wallpaper. Don't keep the apps overlapped by the wall. As well, though i'm not sure which one, I'd suggest looking for a different app theme, and maybe taking off the text for the apps. The colors of the widget in the middle should probably be lighter to go with the rest of the theme. Though i do like the wallpaper, it looks a little busy. The lock screen settings will be in your phones settings some where. Under display or its own lock screen setting. The stock scree you are using though has little to no customizing options. As for the main screen are you splitting it up into 3 separate screens (as in 3 image files) or just setting one large image and letting the phone space it out over the 3 screens?

Just updated all my apps and it broke my theme, so i'm fixing it asap. Trying to find a text based clock, but getting nowhere with that. Basically all I use my ipad for is reading manga and streaming video. Fixing everything basically is the plan.

A text based clock would be legit. No clue how to do it on ios though. Android would just be minimalistic text with widget locker or something.

Just one question though, am I able to resize the widget? I'm using a 9x6 portrait display in order to get other stuff looking nice and with that the default play music widget gets fucked because it's set to only look stable in the huge 4x4 display...

You can resize it but just like the normal widget the spacing is fuck all retarded. But the transparent background means you will not get a deformed background portion. Once you play with it you will see what i mean.

Thanks again, man. Though something went wrong..

I uploaded the .apk to my dropbox and ran it from there on my nexus 4, everything was fine until at the very end when it said that the App was not installed.

It didn't even gave a reason.. I have the security checkbox off, everything enabled, the install process ran perfectly and then at the end... App was not installed.

I don't get it.., is it maybe because I am running Kitkat now and that screwed up with the .apk?

Are you rooted? I could only get it to install by rooting, using titanium backup to uninstall the stock music, rebooting the installing the moded one.

Because google music is a system app the only way to completely replace it would be to root. If you want a transparent widget that is just a play/pause next and back button in that same media fire link I have the pro version of phantom music control. Its not as pretty as google's widget but its got a transparent background, and it does not require root.

I'd change those icons, it just looks awkward like that. For example, the clock icon - make the white outline of the clock smaller so that it fits better inside the box. I like that objective box, though.

You pretty much would. Go into PS, press Ctrl+U (I think, that should open up Hue/Saturation), press Colorize, then go to town.

No, what I did was I color-picked the pink in your screenshot, then selected the headphone part of the icon, and filled it in, in a new layer. Then I went to the layer with the square bit in it and did the colorize thing. (I adjusted the lightness, too, just to let you know.)

I used the magic wand, at 32 tolerance. I think you'd have to fiddle with it if the icon part (like the headphone) is more detailed, but you should be fine otherwise.

Here's the settings for colorize that I used (approximately, I didn't think to save the original settings): http://i.imgur.com/493alu0.png
You could probably figure it out alone, but just in case.

Awesome. If it makes it easier, try making an action - basically, you can set a hotkey (i.e. f2, f3, etc) to a set of actions, like the hue/saturation change. That way, you could just press f2 each time you wanted to change the color. (Google should have help on how to do this, but I can help too if you want.)
