- Multiply effectively turns the white channel transparent
- Burn does the same thing, but also uses the underlying colour with the greyscale. See

First step is always to clean up the monoscale image. So just covering unwanted black lines with white. For instance, compare this:

Something like this (
>>1616079) is similar, except you need to carefully cut the image out - much harder to make look good. I've been lazy and have just been applying multiply/burn.
