The cygwin installer has a weechat package, just check it and weechat-perl and weechat-python. It also has a urxvt package if the regular Cygwin terminal doesn't do it for you.

Cygwinports has all of the libcaca libraries, install them all using it and check gcc, make, automake, autoconf, git, gcc-g++, and pkg-config in the installer as well and you can just build it yourself.

Your Firefox and 4chan don't really fit Deshou theme. I'd recommend changing that and your icons in the taskbar. The render used for the wallpaper is pretty bad as well to be honest.

I must warn you though, it's my first userstyle so it's kind of messy. I've tried labeling various things, but doesn't always correlate that well.

Also some of the color tags in thumbnail mode don't match the colors of the genre buttons.

And because the genre buttons were built into the css all i could do was to overlay some custom buttons on top of the originals, which means when you press them the original shows up. It's not a problem for me though considering I never use those buttons, or I just tend to press the buttons in the main grid.

So It's my first time doing this, so I don't know if it's good or bad by /w/ standards. I used a darker Scheme since it find it easy to do and it doesn't hurt my eyes. Also, the mascot and wallpaper are all done by me to fit the theme. Might also try to change the foobar skin. This is done on a laptop, hence the Resolution.

Thanks for the feedback and the advice. I changed the font, foobar and buttons. I just toned down foobar and assigned shortcut keys for navigation in order to reduced desktop space taken up. With the new font, I'm not sure about it.I'm not good with fonts so I'll try to find others that seem ok. I'll just tweak and experiment a little bit until I can get the hang of it. Luckily, I'll complete a colored version anytime soon.

then do the same for the old explorerframe that you hopefully left in the samefolder and renamed.

alternatively, load up an administrator cmd and run 'sfc /scannow'

Much of it is bbInterface, which makes it very unadaptable. Everything on the left, except the task list, is raw bbInterface; everything on the right uses a Lua script + bbInterface.

The script is dependant on the cure font - it won't work if you're not using cure as your font. It isn't very adaptable to your installation, so you're going to have to construct a bbInterface bar and name everything correctly. Let me know if you still want it.

No idea, you could try it. The reason that it depends on it is that it uses a table I made for character widths - if you use a monospace font, a short edit to the script would make it work perfectly.

Perhaps I'll try a more advanced distro someday, but I've yet to figure out why xinitrc isn't loading my Xresources, so that may tell you something about my level of knowledge.

Also, it is unforunate that cure/lime(.se) doesn't work well with accented characters nor size well with kana/kanji... it made good use of my screen space. I might try to edit it to see what I can do.

Anywho, GTK is so much nicer to make themes for over Windows VS. If I had found a decent editor instead of mtpaint I'm sure I'd be done already.

I actually have not really used GTK yet. Almost all of my programs are qt programs, so I just use that. When I get my new laptop, I'll probably play around with GTK, but I'd like to keep my current laptop pretty minimal.

Not that I know of, but my CSS hides most of that stuff anyway. The only part that I do occasionally use that I wish was themed was the addon bar (I put my urls there).

As long as you can read, there is pretty much nothing that can go wrong.
Though I wouldn't try installing for the next day or two. A crucial part of the setup download was messed up by a stupid error. It doesn't effect people with already set up systems, but anyone trying to set one up can't get wifi.

It depends what you want to use your computer for. If you are a heavy gamer, then it's a horrible idea. If you mostly just watch anime and browse the internet, then you should definitely at least try GNU/Linux. As for gentoo/funtoo specifically, it's hard to say. If you don't install a lot of stuff, or wan't to get the most out of old hardware, then it's a nice distro. If you just want the flexibility of deciding what is actually on your system, then Arch is a better choice. And if you want things to just work without any effort, then go for Crunchbang.

If you want to hide it on Firefox, use:
