If you want check out Tasker's website and you can a 7 day trial of the app. It's a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it you can automate a lot of stuff. When it's running all you can see is a lightning bolt on notification tray.

So the black is a regular 1920x1080 screen. The red and blue are the extensions the phone puts on each side (which extends the wall 540 pixels on each side making it a total of 2160x1080). But this is all considered "one screen." And the odd thing is, each extension can have it's own wallpaper, making 1 screen = 5 screens. I tried making a wall that was 2160x1080 but when I put it on my phone, it was too large? After messing around with it, I found out that this only happens when you have it set to 1 screen...

Adding some spacing to the images would help as well just so its easier to see where one screen starts and one ends. Following the text is also bit tricky for me. They are all just jumbling together more (dyslexia). Maybe adding color the text so each line is diffrent and clearly identifiiable, or even adding an image such as a character that is clearly broken up in places.
With the spacing issue do you just want one image to take the entire screen and not get scalled funny or do you want multiple parts of an image on diffrent screens? (Like I do here

Its doing this awkward zoom in and expand so it doesn't fit square anymore. There is little to no sense behind the way it expands an image. Its all just proportional to the number of home screens you have. If you want just one image to fit square try to use the app "image2wallpaper" and see if that gets it centered.
I'm in the same position as you falling asleep here so need be we can continue this later.

As for the icons, like with the clock its hard to recommend anything. There are some icon packs that are just thin white lines that will look good down by her shirt like the nav icons do but they would look bad higher up in her hair.
My biggest recommendation is to make her smaller so you have a couple patches of the solid gray background showing. That way you can get a clock that doesn't blend into the character and icons that don't look good on one half of the column and bad on another.

But seriously, these types of walls are hard to rice. Vectors are much easier to rice since you can easily edit them, as in size and position. But here you have a giant face taking up half your screen and leaving you with no actual room for clocks and such.

You can also keep your functional layout just make it look better. You put the folders there so you shouldn't need them labeled. Folders will look better if they are represented by one solid icon rather than a stack of icons. Your icons will look better if you find a pack that will theme all your apps or at least all the apps on the home screen so again it all looks consistent and put together.
