>>1696738You can get away with that in normal art, because it is hard to see. When you make a vector and export at 300 or 600 PPI, those become errors because they are so plainly visible. Instead of melding with the paint it looks like a solid object that doesn't fit. You notice it more and more with the more vectors you do. Vectoring just isn't really made to do that. It is made to be slick, clean, and infinitely scalable.
I certainly don't see how you think the guy is properly mimicking the artists strokes. It clearly looks like someone who does not know how to use nodes and handles, and is instead winging it. Maybe it is hard for you to see since you haven't done it yourself, but it is plainly obvious to me, and anyone else that has been doing this for a while now.
