>>1688144If you are using the pen tool in PS, Ai, or Inkscape, then every time you place a point, it is called a node. That node can be smooth or sharp, depending on what you decide, and you are given handles to adjust the shape accordingly. Having too many makes the surface rough and clunky as you have more nodes to manage and conflict with, and that's the biggest issue for your image. The hair around the top and around sharp points is rough, the eyes are rough, the furballs are rough, the mouth is rough and all the shadows are rough. Basically you don't know how to use the pen tool yet and need more practice with it.
I don't usually do minimalism images, but I did this to show how much smoother you can make an image like this. I didn't bother with the shadows though. Threw it on a random pink background so you could see the hair easier.
Also, don't fuck with Momiji's hair.
