Do any exlink users know how to get rid of that little ex tab towards the top left? And what torrent client do any of you use? utorrent 2.2.1 doesn't seem to be very customizable.

Other than that, I'd really like to fit MPC somewhere in here, but I'm not sure how I should change my layout. Any suggestions?

How do you change the boardlist?
I assume you loop through the href values and use case..else conditions to only include the board letter+urls that you want to keep (e.g /a/, /b/, /vg/)

I am a newbie to JS, I'm racking my head trying to think of a way to implement this.

I'm still new to customizing the desktops, so suggestions are welcomed. I also don't really know how to showcase my desktop well, so I just put a movie/picture/music/browser and that's it.

I have a feeling you are misunderstanding him, because there's clearly a two spots where the song title is seen and I think he's talking about the one on the right.

I don't know the answer, I do know about two foobar plugins for bblean which are bbFooman (not sure if foobar2k) and bbFoomp (I know this is for sure), but I haven't used it since they're both 32-bit plugins and I have the 64-bit one.

It's possible to get it to cooperate. You just need to show everything, like the titlebar and menubar. Hes using it there.

I didn't mean to imply that it wasn't working, it's just an issue with it acting as if it's using an alpha value that I have no way to adjust. (i.e. the closer to black you get, instead of becoming darker it becomes more transparent).

I'm pretty interested in creating interfaces myself. I'm currently studying graphic design, so it'll be good for me to have this as a project to work on.

However, programming wise, what would I need to learn to create foobar, steam skins etc?

I've been looking at twnsnd work (masood) and it's inspired me to create skins but I'm not sure what programming language I'd need to know.

I'm waiting for my new computer to come in before I start completely ricing, so I'm starting with Appchan X. What settings do you guys use to make it look so nice? I got this far with about 5 minutes of looking through the settings.. And what resolution do you have your mascot to keep it clean? From pic attached mine has a lot of jagged edges (res is 2031 x 2952)

Read the OP.

Lose the desktop icons, use small taskbar icons, change taskbar icons, install a vs, change the start orb, lose the shitty windows gadgets, get a better wallpaper (and one that's /w/ related if you're going to post here), use MPC instead of VLC and use one of the many clients that're better than utorrent, install stylish for firefox and find/edit/write a good CSS for it, also write CSS for 4chan and install 4chanX and Oneechan for smoother browsing.

Basically, just read the OP. Make sure you don't just copy everything that's in it because being a clone is worse than not being riced.

As a Windows 8 user, I can safely say that is bullshit. There are only a handful of good visual styles for W8/8.1 and there are plenty of good dark VS for W7. They're used all the time in this thread.

Fonts are default for Oneechan, uushi for foobar and HaxrCorp S8 for everything else.

You should update your AIMP skin though, version 1.8 has been out for a while.

Another tip I could give you is to disable the 2nd line of info. In the preferences go to appearance under playlist to disable it.

I had it on & everything looked screwed up, so after I had turned it off I could not reply anymore.

Well there was no reply box, and the images were opening in new windows instead of maximizing.

Is there an image viewer that only has borders? No menus, no scrollbars, etc? I use ifranview at the moment.. but it has a scrollbar on the right a good majority of the time. I've tried removing it with AHK, but no luck.

I really like the look and feel of macs. Honestly Ive moved away from home and my parents offered to pay for a laptop for me to take to and from campus. But I chose to just go halves with them on a macbook.

Download this addon
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nightly-tester-tools/
Restart Firefox
Open "about:config"
Change "nightly.idtitle" to True
Change "nightly.templates.title" to ${TabTitle}

It should work immediately as shown in my scrot.

I seem to be having some trouble with bblean. I've been using it for about 2.5 years now, so I can't remember much about setting it up, but I have this issue where the Windows taskbar keeps popping up every time I open explorer. It's just when I open Explorer and goes away upon closing it.
Don't remember ever having this issue before, is there something I'm neglecting to do? At the moment I'm hiding it manually, but I don't want to have to rely on that.

I've been using it for a while, but recently had to start all my ricing from scratch.
And yes, it's been installed as my shell. It's not much of an inconvenience to hide it, but I find it odd that I've never had this problem before.

If you're using 4chanx/Appchanx there's probably an option to shorten the page names.
Also google Firetitle remove the "- Mozilla Firefox".

Well, I was following the guide the OP's link provided. First, I got Windows to allow 3rd party themes, then after that it said to copy your desired theme into Windows' themes folder and activate it. All I get every time I click the theme is a basic theme. I know there's something I'm doing wrong...

I've used at least three, the one I remember is Appows. And yes, that is exactly what is happening, except sometimes my wallpaper will stay the same, other times the wallpaper will be all black.
