Well I'm staying away from bblean, and I'll probably use the explorer taskbar again since I feel it's more efficient for me.

-I'm currently coming up with a concept for a new vs, including rainmeter skins (like notification pop ups), and the clock/date skin I created.

those borders are a thing for me because they're xmonad's default

since xmonad's just tiling and all window management is hotkeys there's no need for a titlebar- hence, the only parameters one controls with the borders are color and width

The way most people do it is editing the border png and turning them into a shadow, which never looks right.

As for bblean, it can be accomplished with the skin, but I stopped using bblean.

Play with it until you get a feel for it. Just don't install it as a shell until you do and you shouldn't have any problems. It's actually really easy once you get used to the config files. Most stuff you'll find in the right-click menu under 'blackbox' but protip, ctrl-click on your bblean bar for more bar-specific options. Took me a bit to figure that out on my first use.

How do you guys remove titlebars? I've been using that autohotkey script but some programs get their titlebars back when they update (i.e. reconnecting or switching to a channel I haven't looked at yet on Hexchat), and a lot of other programs have their borders stretched out at the bottom by the length of the titlebar, which doesn't go away unless the window is resized. There has to be a better way of getting rid of them.

Excuse the foobar, it fucked up and deleted all the settings I had (again) and I'm too lazy to put it back because I'm going to reformat soon.

I suppose there are parameters you can use to change the color? otherwise you edit the script for script-based color change, and console's for global color options. If you only use cmdfetch it doesn't really matter

I think you mean WM, not DE. A DE is like gnome or kde. Not what most people use to rice.
i3 and awesome are the best WM for starters. Though I would prefer stuff like bspwm, herbstluftwm, and 2bwm.

The script itself simply grabs and prints information, it can also tell that information be a certain color if your terminal supports it. While you can change the scripts color, "red" to be "green" it will not actually change the terminals red or green value. Those values are determined by either mintty.rc for mintty, xdefaults/xresources for rxvt/urxvt, or in your case the xml file. For example:

The titlebars are there, but my address bar is hidden and the close, min and max only show up on hover.

That's because you need to alter the system files anon, it comes with a couple of .dll's which you need to change on your System32/SysWOW64 folder. If you don't know how to make backups or are afraid, I recommend you don't do this, even I knew what I was doing and I still fucked up my system because of these icons.

Not just change the files, files in the Windows folder are protected so you can't just fuck up the OS. You'll need a tool called Take Ownership, to add ownership to all the files you want. When you do, just rename the original files, as a backup, and then put the modified ones in.

In this ss, it's firefox with toolbar autohide, and hide caption titlebar plus.

The 2 skins at the bottom are skins to match my vs.

No regedits, or .dll replacements at all, just a vs+ rainmeter and ff.

I was just wondering why you didn't have titlebars on any of your windows, including the explorer(?) and image viewer(?). Which visual style are you using? I don't see any rainmeter, either.

This is the image I had just talked about.

As for this one ">>1792372" I do have titlebars,but the address bar is hidden which was done by editing it in wsb.

The titlebars are there, but I had changed the color to match the dark color and hid the caption buttons "min, max, close"
to only show when I hover in that area.

Also set the caption font to a blank font to remove it.

i got a script (AHK one) to remove titlebar and there's a problem - when i use it w/o bbleanskin everything is fine just titlebar is removed, in case with bbskin - titlebar is gone but also with bblean borders and some white borders appear
