>>1831522You should read the novels right after where the anime ends (vol 4). Haru gets A LOT BETTER after that. And the story itself gets a lot better.
It's only a small-ish spoiler, specially since it's basically the setting for that arc, but Haru becomes the 6th Chrome Disaster (when they killed Cherry Rook, the 5th Disaster, part of the armor embeded itself in Silver Crow's back).
With that, Haru starts getting manlier. And violent. And pretty much nearly goes full berserk. Then a lot of stuff happens, which I won't spoiler, but naturally they save him (of course nothing would happen to the MC, so this isn't a spoiler), but since some emotional shit happened he also mans the fuck up a lot.
Where I am currently, that is, volume 9, Haru is pretty fucking badass a lot of times. He stands up and is ready to challenge even Green Grandeur.
Basically, if we get a second season, it's gonna be fucking great.
