I cannot, for the life of me, find a dl for this show subbed. I watched it the freshman year of high school dubbed over and I've always wanted to watch the subbed version.

I watched both seasons and enjoyed them. I love ridiculous fanservice/romance/harem stuff. Always saw people mention how bad the anime was, but I didn't get it. And then I read the manga. Holy fuck, they fucked up the anime SO BAD. It's a damn shame.
Still want to get around to reading the second manga series. Some day.

Yeah, there was a lot of potential in this anime that they fucked up. There are some anime who CAN balance great story-telling and excessive fanservice. Highschool DxD has a great story and the anime knows when to use excessive fanservice but tones it down when very serious scenes are happening. They could have used a similar method when making R+V the anime. Hopefully they remake it a la FMA:Brotherhood but I'm not holding my breath.
