Aero Glass will enable windows' transparency effect because they removed it after win7. It's not free, but you will be able to find a cracked version somewhere on the net.
After applying Aero Glass, the visual style you'll install will have transparent borders, I used the VS called 'Flat Sharp' and modify it with Windows Style Builder (not free software, but a cracked version is available) because the side borders were white.
Then I removed the blur effect of the windows with a software, it was something like 'Aero Blur Tweaker'.
