>>2116653Yeah It is. When you feel alone and have no place to belong, you need a group or something to feel special about to get some sense of belonging/fulfillment, and long forgotten old anime often gives people that for alot of reasons.
Lain have that kind of interesting philosophical topics to think about, but yeah the anime isn't for everyone and that's fine.
