>>8114923Good catch, Anon! I actually do use an 11in M1 iPad Pro as my daily driver. I found that it can do 95% of what I want to on a daily basis.
The only things it can’t do well on its own are PC gaming, obviously, and programming.
Fortunately, I’m something of a homelabber and have a server that I can offload those tasks onto as the backend while still using my iPad as the frontend.
For programming, I use VS Code Server hosted on my lab and accessed via Safari on my iPad.
For gaming I have a Windows 11 VM that streams via Sunshine/Moonlight to my iPad at its native resolution, 120fps, and zero discernible compression or latency. I have an MMO mouse I plug into the iPad alongside ethernet to play FFXIV that way.
As a dedicated iPad power user, there’s nothing you can’t do.
