Both sides have bitchy little teenagers that complain and say they're better than they are. I play LoL but have played Dota and I prefer LoL cause I just do. I find the Dota players I play with terrible and not even able to beat bots though that doesn't represent the entire Dota community and neither does dealing with one asshole on League represent the entire community, though I have dealt with more than I should.
