>>7575612your phone isnt a canvas, its a flat screen, which is why id rather have more simple foreground than a one imitating canvas or whatever the hell this is, looks almost like its creating a vignette, which no one should aspire to do.
the spacing of icons is almost good, but the problem are your navigation buttons, which stick out, making the spacing uneven. id suggest making a box for these (simple black or maybe something fitting your style) (this will also separate those white buttons from dark icons, which clash, as you see)
by the way, these are too tightly packed, split those into two rows or remove some of these
remember about spacing, id say that spacing is everything, as some components might look ugly, that is only to personal taste, but if something is uneven, it is objective, and itll make your design look retarded
if you want to use lines, let them match the thickness of fonts you are using, dont be affraid to use decorative elements
also courier fonts uare gly, use a more classic typeface (yu mincho is my personal favourite)
seek for inspiration
make sure any important stuff is clear and visible
im usually lazy with my designs, so ill post some of my lazydesigns, but that are mostly obeying the rules i go with
