You can achieve a similar effect using UCCW on homescreens. You just have to know the proper dimensions to fill the screen, place a UCCW widget that consists of the blurred image, and set widgets to overlap. Pic related. I swipe to the left to get to my calendar widget. The blurred wallpaper brings the calendar into focus. You can use this same process to set different wallpapers for each homescreen.
