Honestly, is pretty lonely & stressful. No one (or very few people) will understand your work. Especially if there is something you find really interesting, or make significant progress on research, It's not like you can share it with anyone - no one will care or relate.
Therapy & meds help somewhat w/ coping, but it doesn't make it easier to meet people or make friends.
I will def say that studying alone late into the night in a city apt will always be cozy/aesthetic af, though.
