>>6507263Not a book, but a great grade B cult movie. Many laughable moments for us today, but also some solid sci fi post-apocalypse themes. Nothing overly surprising or very different for anyone who's seen Planet of the Apes ... but worth seeing. For a writer, lessons to be learned here in what sci fi tropes have already been done to death and should be avoided, unless they can be approached with very fresh creativity. When Zardoz came out, some of this was quite a bit more fresh than today ... but many books and movies since have stolen heavily from this and now a lot of it just seems campy.
