I hardly ever use my app drawer, I use my phone a lot for social, media, browsing, and even writing when I'm away from home and need to jot down some things.
You can have functionality without it looking bad.
Are you rooted? If not, I don't see why you have an Android device if your opinions better suit an iPhone.
