Don't use #000 on backgrounds ever and thin that weather bar over the clock, it's a clever effect but it doesn't work out as it's too thick.

Create your own clock in Zooper/UCCW, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly and it's a lot of fun, plus being original gets you more internet street cred. As for your first attempt, it was much the same quality, but the colour made it more enjoyable.
