vaporwave is based around aesthetics, reminiscing about a time that never really existed. 2000's internet culture w/ 90's corporate design w/80's music. also anime. basically all the shit that millenials experienced growing up. lots of roman statues b/c they basically invented the concept of aesthetics. it's harder to describe vaporwave than outrun though because outrun is more of a one trick pony, i feel like that will offend soome people though.
