I recently reconciled with my ex after being single for a year and I'm so happy and ready to commit but he isn't ready for a relationship yet. The past week we've seen each other every day, he's slept over with me several times, and we made love passionately one night but he doesn't wanna commit yet. We have a date today and he told me just last night he has a date with another girl today that he scheduled before we started talking again. He says he's gonna tell her he wants to be friends, though. It's obvious to me from what he's been telling me that he wants to rekindle how things were before over time, but I'm scared that I'll fuck it up by coming off too strong too fast or that because he won't commit yet he finds someone else and pursues them first. I'm gonna try to stay calm, take things slowly, and be optimistic, but I'm still damn nervous about this whole thing.
