A while ago he had an episode and told his sister he was going to kill the neighbor or he was going to kill himself to avoid being caught. He couldn't do the former (my aunt called the cops and he was taken to a hospital), so yesterday he finally did the latter. Spent the whole night roaming the city and then went into a subway station and jumped onto the tracks as the day's first train was coming.
Thanks to covid most other health issues are being ignored right now, especially mental health. Unlike the first time he had a crisis years ago, this time they just gave him some meds and sent him home after one day in the clinic, and evidently it was not enough
