>>7606573Hi anon, it's been a little over 2 weeks since I last saw this thread but thank you so much for replying, I really appreciate it.
Yeah, I agree on applying the skills section, I'm looking forward to applying for internships and taking a leave of absence instead of focusing on schoolwork. I might be approaching things from a flawed point of view, but university is rather useless to me, aside from higher financial earnings.
As for the college friend, I'm fortunate enough to say that person isn't the typical 'frat-boy' dude, unlike the fucktons of dudes you and I have both met in college. He's an actually considerate person and pretty smart too, but still :-/ Would appreciate having a bit more friends, I barely count myself having more than 3 'sometimes we meetup' friendships in college.
Yep, I want to focus on drawing in my sparetime - used to think that drawing instead of mugging / rushing for internships etc would put me at a competitive disadvantage in the job market, but I think I will join my school's art club. You're absolutely right in the anxious culture part - it's hard to constantly push myself and as a result, lose out to the hyper-competitive crowd in college, but I want to be at peace with myself as well, it's important.
I've really taken your words to heart (and screenshotted this in my fav pictures) - I hope years down the round I'll look back at this very same picture and feel another round of gratitude as well. Thank you :)
