Union electrician. I'm part of a labor pool and often work for 3-4 companies a year. Dont normally worry about a job because of it, and generally take time off when i want to.

It varies. recently topped out and made $116k by working overtime when it was offered. Live comfortably with my wife and 2 young kids. wife is good with money, and i can splurge 500-1000$ when i feel like it

big picture, im not where i want to be yet. i got 2 boys under 2 years and when i was traveling/workingOT i missed out on a lot. trying to buy my first house during the next dip so i can finally relax. i try to keep busy with hobbies to keep my head straight
>What would you change, career or other, if you could?
i wouldnt change my career. i get to problem solve and build shit for a living. and if i wanted i could tell someone to fuck off with minimal repercussions. my family pieced together very fast, the change and adaptaion is still challenging, but this is where i want to be in life
