>>7691539I'm a college student too. My university chose to have all classes online so all my classes last year have been online. It's been so so difficult. Because there is no way to ensure students don't cheat in final exams, most profs have decided to either make their module completely continuous assessment (usually 3 to 7 assignments through the semester) or have 2 open-book quizzes worth 50% each and ignore whatever cheating happens. The workload has been so heavy. It feels like something is due every other week. Every tutorial is a competition for participation marks. Every assignment is another chance to get squashed by the bell curve.
My eating and sleeping habits are pretty bad now. I never liked eating, so I used to center my classes around lunch, so that I would eat in school. But now, I don't want to leave my dorm room. I don't wake up in time for breakfast, but I can't sleep until 2 am.
Today, I was supposed to buy a present for my mum (her birthday is coming up), but I don't know what to buy her, and I don't think I'll even be able to leave my room to get it even if I knew.
Sorry for the sadposting, hope the OC makes up for it.
