Unfortunately literature about manly gentlemen, pistol duels, scientific innovation, the center of the Earth, the Great Old Ones, Queen & Country, and pushing the limits of mankind and imagination using all steam-powered technology attracts the total opposite breed of fans these days.
Oh wait, that's not just steampunk. That's EVERY genre. Being corrupted by camwhores, thots, furries, trannies, people who think Negroes are 5/5 of a person, anti-gun pacifists, and Communists.
