I don't think I know a stronger feeling of content than being taken aback by a moment where everything in the universe halts in some unnaturally perfect state of atmosphere that somehow resonates at the exact frequency that your soul needs at that moment. I don't know what causes it, something about the air or light that slips you into a state of mind after long periods of discomfort that entraps you. Like sitting at the bottom of a still swimming pool at dusk and you're body decides it doesn't need to let you breathe at the moment so you can take it all in.
I wish I had been able to commit more of those moments to images before she left. All I have is constantly fading memory. Maybe I need to take up painting.
