Because I'm at a 4 year college, I have to get through the more traditional art first (drawing, sculpting, that sort of thing). So I have like 3 art classes at the same time, and they usually assign some kind of homework.
It's not really like math or science, where you could just regurgitate the information quickly if you know it. Even if you're skilled at doing art, you're going to be spending a while on the homework either way if you want it to look good/get a decent grade.
I don't really mind it though, I'm learning a ton of skills that I otherwise would never have learned, and it's all really helped me flesh out some of my wp designs too.
Don't feel like you have to keep it alive for my sake though! I see low poly threads pop up from time to time, so if this thread eventually is kill, I'll be on another or even start one.
