I believe there is, at some point of the universe, omnipotency. It may be even achievable. But more so it is there, and it may or may not be sentient. I believe that no man does his own decisions. He is controlled what is and happens around him, and has the ability to control that. In my shitty opinion about omnipotency it's also important to understand your own capabilities.
Omnipotency, or the idea that you aren't in control of your own self is unthinkable to a person. Therefore I believe the more we try to think about omnipotency or an omnipotent being, the less we'd have to rationalize it, and the more you try to rationalize it, the more you steer away from the actual thing, 'truth' if you may. The different religions and beliefs have evolved through enough rationalization - the christian god is often depicted as an old man with a grand beard, or the buddha is often a bald monk.
In short: there is omnipotency or an omnipotent being/beings somewhere there, but the more you think about it, the less you can grasp of it.
