Been thinking about the tiny and random things that have drastically changed my life. I used to pack up and spend 4-10 days at a time backpacking all kinds of places [including a few of the slot canyons near Lee's Ferry such as
>>8079978] until a muscular defect wrecked my back. Now I work business IT from home and rarely get out anymore. A woman I never knew getting her face burned in Costa Rica derailed a move and prompted me to instead move to a Pacific island. My brother committing to a bit in a game lobby where he pretended to be my pimp ended in me moving several states over to get laid by my then best friend. While there I met and started dating the woman I now get to call my wife.
It's never far from my mind how most of my life has been wildly hard. I've been homeless, nearly starved to death once, nearly asphyxiated due to a medical condition several times in my adult life, been in a physically, emotionally, and sexually abusive relationship, have ADHD, depression, anxiety, and severe back issues just for starters.
I also think that, despite it all, I genuinely wouldn't change any of it.
