>>7128333I can kinda relate. When I was young my uncle died and instead of going to the funeral I asked my mom if I could go on a school trip to the zoo on the same day. The only reason she said yes was because it was an open-casket and she thought it might be disturbing for me.
I never realized how rude that was of me until my teenage years. Lot's of kids don't have a very good understanding of death and thus don't give it the respect it deserves.
