Sorry to hear that man, lost my grandmother last month (fought 12 years against cancer). Some say i was stone cold at her funeral but that was because i already said my goodbyes (not verbally ofcourse) in her last year. Try to remember how your mom was in her good days (before the cancer) and tell yourself she was a different person (not herself, in comparison with who she was) in her "bad ones". You probably won't agree with me because the situation is different but this is how i processed it. Just carry her "good persona" with you, eventually you'll start to let go of her. Even though it sounds hearthless now.
