Jesus' Son and Train Dreams are both awesome.. Jesus' Son is kinda like a novel, because all of the stories share the same narrator.
The Plague made a huge impression on me back when I read it. That's probably my favorite Camus.
My summer reading has been hit and miss. I really enjoyed Gibson's new book, The Peripheral. Reread another Johnson novella called The Name of the World and liked it a lot more than I did the first time I read it. I actually did more rereading of things I've liked in the past than reading of new stuff this summer, but that's suited me just fine. You can always get something more out of the really good works. I'm currently about to finish a book called The Passage by Justin Cronin... it's ok... not great literature, but a fun read... Kinda reminds me of how I felt reading King's the Stand when I was younger.
I also want to check out a book called Joe by Larry Brown after seeing and really liking the movie.
