But what are your thoughts on gender being a performance? Sure, there's some historical backing with women often being the caretaker because lactation and preciousness and all that, but does it matter today?
I feel like it's all bullshit. Men can wear jewelry and grow flowers and be homemakers. Women can be stockbrokers and pilots. Everything related to traditional gender roles is just noise. A desperate grasp at perceived stability that improves none of our lives.
