To be honest I don't know if I can say much more than that because it's something I'm going through too but just know that you're not completely alone in this feeling.
Escaping into another world and association with the characters of that world can be a powerful feeling. It has its bads but can also be good sometimes and help you want to experience new things and cultures, at least I've found that that's how it has been for me.
I guess just keep on trying new hobbies in real life whether they be influenced by those characters or not and when you find one that you are truly passionate about for yourself and not because of some character, you'll know it. Best of luck.
