>>8005285Hey man life can turn around real fast if you don't give up. I'm turning 29 soon. At 25 I was a college dropout who couldn't hold down a job, lived in a horrible flat with 5 other people and a cat I was allergic to, after work I went to a bar to get drunk/high and then to the flat to sleep and that was all I did. Now I've had a steady job for a couple of years, not great but pays the bills and a bit more, a beautiful girlfriend and a newborn baby and we live in a small but nice apartment together. Life is still a struggle in many ways but I'd never believe 5 years ago that this is what my future would be like. I was so depressed back then I was thinking of ending it daily. Just keep struggling bro, it doesn't get easier but it does get better.
Also, don't quit programming. If you got the brains to get it and work on it you'll get a job. Important thing to remember is that programming skills aren't tied to languages, all languages are the same thing in principle, engineering skills are transferable, don't pigeonhole yourself into a single role.
