>What do you do for a living?
22M, I don't have a job right now but I'm about to graduate and look for one! I got fired from my last job as a line cook, I don't think I was doing badly but people weren't coming in and the other cooks (who I were really close to) said the hours were given to someone else who wanted a second job. So, I don't know if I'm going to look for an easy to get job in a restaurant or somewhere else or if I should go for something in my field
>How much do you make? And what's your quality of life
I don't make anything right now, living with my mom and siblings (who have jobs which is fun). Not paying rent but I'm not feeling overly concerned about things because I'm pretty certain my degree/experience will be enough to get me going somewhere decent. I'd say my quality of life is 8/10, I'm about to write a final essay for my class and I'm browsing /wg/ to relax before I settle in and start writing
>Are you happy?
I think so. I make music and write a lot, and I feel more accomplished over that than getting a 4.0 on my degree, so I'm thinking of maybe getting an MFA instead of going further in my field of study. I don't know if it's a good idea because it costs so much and I can make art without it, but I'm A LITTLE worried that I'll miss out on something that gets me genuinely excited just to take a safer, but also fulfilling route.
>What would you change, career or other, if you could?
Probably switching to something where I can create more actively. This summer I'm going to dig into music and writing and talk to some universities/professors about doing an MFA program, see if I can get a scholarship or something. Other than that I'm feeling A-Okay, this girl I met a bit ago wants to have a sexually exclusive FWB kind of thing and I really dig her, so I think this summer will be super nice in that regard too.
Thank you all for posting, I'm sorry if you guys are struggling. Being on here and seeing real people talk makes me feel not alone
