>>5940616That's an incredible story anon. It sounds like you've really turned your life around and I'm very happy to hear stories like this. Even if he's unwilling to accept a verbal thank you for what he's done, you may still yet be able to write him a letter and sharing your story with him. Then just slip it under his door or something and I'm sure he'll appreciate the effort you've taken to let him know how grateful you are. I wish you the best of luck in school, I know you're capable of great things anon.
>>5941117Thank you for sharing with me anon. I was in school for Visual Communication Design which is basically just a fancy way of saying Graphic Design. I was unhappy with it so I switched. Frankly, you shouldn't bother yourself with the concerns of others. You're in school to learn to do what YOU want to do. If you're unhappy with it, it's your decision to change. Nobody else is doing the studying or putting in the work for you, it's not their call. I'm glad you're realistic about it though, that you understand the necessity of going through all of this even if it's not your favorite thing to do. I think your dreams sound realistic and you just need to stick with your gut.
>>5940685I'm sorry to hear that anon. I think you should really take a step back and look at yourself for what an amazing person you are that you're putting yourself on the chopping block for others. Harness that positivity and invest it in yourself this time. There's no sense in killing yourself for others if you're not around for them to love and appreciate. Making others happy is a good thing but when you're killing yourself to do it, you really need to take time to make yourself happy too. I hope you find that happiness anon and let your friends and family shoulder their own burdens a little bit.
