My friends tried to console me afterwards in all honesty, but none of them really understood. Being surrounded by friends with good intentions yet still feeling alone is probably one of the worse parts. It's really nice to hear from someone who's felt the same.
We were halfway through a game of Dokapon. Still got the save files. My better friends play through it with me sometimes.
