Pic related please, I would like that hard vertical seam down the venter to be blended. The center 200-300 pixels (~150 pixels +/- on either side of the seam) is the zone I expect to be the focus of editing/blending, but do whatever you think is best. It doesn't have to be perfect, I just want it "mostly good" so it sort of resembles sticking your head inside a geode to compliment a cave theme I've got going with a dual monitor setup. But, 'perfect' is good also, depending upon the eye of the artist doing the work. I just don't want to make a REQ with a monster time sink on it.
Please do retain the 10:16 ratio (1600x2560) portrait orientation.
Maintaining a perfect symmetry is unnecessary. In fact, the symmetry is an artifact of my amateur edit to get this far. It's unnatural, so feel free to be as asymmetrical as you wish so long as it feels visually balanced to your sense of aesthetic.

Stretch goals if anyone's feeling ambitious and it doesn't suck down a lot of time for little gain:
1) There is some fairly minor gradient banding "behind" the crystals. If that can be reduced without degrading the rest of the image, that'd be great, too.
2) Cloning the tips of some of the crystals and filling in the center top (especially) and the center bottom (not as important) edges to enhance the immersion could be nice. I'll trust artist's best judgement on colors, blending, and orienting them for a natural feel.
