you can call /w/ a dead board all you'd like, but there's a legitimate reason /wg/ and /w/ are segregated from one another.
that said, i'd be a-ok with 1-2 anime/manga containment threads on this board for access to the higher traffic (and because some of it can be rather soulful), so long as the ops contained links redirecting to /w/ and the threads themselves were respected by /wg/ to the point where all the content within said threads wouldn't necessarily be confined to anime/manga, but may include realistic/western/other depictions of anime/manga that would otherwise be disallowed on /w/ (not that that would ever likely be actively enforced anyway).
