I liquidated my main collection some years ago, but a few remain and I've picked a few up from Goodwill and such when I've had a jones to re-read old favorites.
Glad to see some Niven-Pournelle represented here. These two collaborated for decades and always came up with crazy shit. Even when they didn't co-author they were friends who always called each other up for inspiration. Niven's wild, crazy imagination and storytelling was well-tempered and balanced by Pournelle's meticulous detail and mechanical construction.
I feel that Mote in God's Eye is close to their best, but Footfall
