This one has kind of a story behind it.
For one semester while I was a physics major, a professor and I decided to take some time to figure out a scientific approach to taking good photos of some water droplets.
For the most part, it's a bit of a random occurrence that's pretty much up to timing, but we studied the trajectories and fall time and all that shit and got it pretty consistent. Eventually we were able to get some pretty crazy splashes with 2-3 drop collisions.
