Try something more believable for text messaging. Maybe that can help. Cus the first messages from this mystery person sounds like a really nice hook and I love their role as info widgets but it goes south towards the end.
Maaaaybe ending with "Find me." followed by stuff like "Wait what? What do you mean? Hello??" from grey texter.
Gotta find that sweet spot between the narrative and credibility.
