I struggle with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts a lot. One of the things that's helped has been researching about how humans die, the death industry, and different death practices around the world.
I found it very therapeutic to think about death outside the context of a very bad depressive episode; it gives me a feeling of control that I don't usually get when I'm in a bad place. I started with Caitlin Doughty's YouTube channel "Ask a Mortician", which alternates between her experience as a funeral director/crematory operator and the death industry and discussions about death in history, and branched out from there.
It might help you too, Anon.
