I was also thinking of something like the atlantis blue colour (pic related) with a black hood.
The E46 is a beautiful car and I think due to the shape of it's hood it will always look better than a celica if you want a stripe look.
Once I've painted it I can start working on the interior, plenty to keep me busy over summer.
